Dear Customer,
On February 8, 2010, the Indian Wells Valley Water District’s Board of Directors approved a fouryear rate structure that went into effect on March 1, 2010. The March 1, 2010 rate increase is designed to cover rising operating costs, capital costs, and debt service obligations including those related to new mandates for arsenic treatment. In the second year, the rates include an increase for new water supply and conservation programs, which arise from increased consumption. These increases will not affect low water users with usage in the first three tiers. To see how these rates may affect you, click on the button below for the bill calculator.
