Hearing on Indian Wells Valley Water District’s Motion for Order Temporarily Suspending the Requirement to Pay the Initial Appearance Fee:  Friday, February 18, 2022, at 9:30 am in Department C16 of the Orange County Superior Court (located at 700 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana, CA 92701). The Orange County Superior Court granted the Indian Wells Valley Water District’s request to suspend the court’s $1,000 filing fee.  The Water District asked the court to waive this court-mandated fee so that all who wish to participate in the adjudication can do so.  The Court ordered:  “To facilitate participation by Basin property owners in the comprehensive adjudication of the at-issue water rights, the Court orders that payment of initial appearance fees is suspended from the date of this order through 04-29-22. (See CCP § 128(a); Gov. Code § 70616.)”
